Rotary kiln is the heart of a cement plant where clinkerization process, heating of a homogeneous mixture of raw materials at the sintering temperature of approximately 1,450 °C to form clinker, takes place.
Refractory linings of different zones in rotary kiln are sophisticatedly designed for each specific kiln to withstand combination of parameters and conditions such as fluctuating temperature, chemical reactions between refractories and raw materials & gases in the kiln, abrasion and mechanical stresses induced by its own weight or deformation of the kiln shell as it rotates, etc.

Siam Refractory also offers solution in refractory lining for Kiln Burner Pipe. Refractory lining has to withstand the severity of high-velocity erosive hot air and clinker dust from Clinker Cooler. Our TufDura-series mixed with special type of stainless steel fibers are developed for this particular area to provide satisfactory service life.
