Siam Refractory delivers appropriate products and solutions including hot or cold practices of dry tundish coating materials (olivine and magnesia based).
Our product Dyracoat®; the excellent performance dry tundish coating material and high-grade magnesia based dry tundish working material with resin based binder. With high Magnesia (MgO) content, Dyracoat® performs magnificently as non-reactive working lining, and is suitable for all steel making processes.
Dyracoat® is a better alternative than wet spraying mass especially in view of the following advantages:

• Clean and quick installation
• Easy to handle
• No water required for installation, no risk of spalling or explosion due to rapid evaporation
• Eliminate steel’s pinhole due to moisture problem
• Low energy consumption for preheating as Dyracoat® requires short preheating time, and is prompt for use as cold tundish (with preheating nozzles)
• Minimum wall thickness can be maintained due to the use of a former
